to live full and independent lives. EBI is a private non-profit organization that now supports about 1,000
individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own homes, to be successfully
employed, and to feel a sense of membership in their community.

Exciting News: Recruitment is Now Open for East Bay Innovations’ 2024 Project SEARCH Programs!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2024 internship cycle. Project SEARCH is a life-changing program designed to provide valuable work training and experience to RCEB clients that are interested in seeking competitive employment in the community.

Early Educator Apprenticeship Program

Through the California Department of Rehabilitation’s (DOR) Demand Side Employment Initiative (DSEI), EBI has developed a newly-accessible childcare training opportunity: the Early Educator Apprenticeship Program. This apprenticeship program has been adapted for regional center and/or Department of Rehabilitation clients who would like to work in a preschool, but who need support to complete the classes required for preschool employment.
