The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has partnered with East Bay Innovations (EBI) to develop the Advancing Equity: Housing and Community Access program. This program aims to connect people with disabilities, with specialized support for Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese speakers and their families in Alameda County who are interested in learning more about affordable housing and services to help them become or remain independent in housing of their own with programs to support them and their decision-making and choices. Through interactive informational sessions held virtually and in-person, community members have an opportunity to learn and connect with resources that can support an empowered, self-determined, dignified life.
